I adopted this recipe because I liked the basic ingredients and I love crock pot cooking! I changed some ingredients to better suit my tastes and I think the recipe is now one you and your family will enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 4 large
    chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1 medium
    zucchini, cubed
  • 2 tsp
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    basil, dried
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • 1/2 c
    dry white wine (i used chardonnay)
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste
  • ·
    cooking spray

How to Make Crock Pot Basil Chicken

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
  2. Place all ingredients into crock pot in order listed. Cook on low 7 hours.
  3. Serve over rice or pasta.
  4. NOTE: For those of you who do not cook with wine, you can substitute 1/4 cup chicken broth and 2 Tbsp each of lemon juice and balsamic vinegar.
