This recipe was created for my sister's birthday by combining some of her favorite things...vanilla cake and peanut butter cups...then topped with peanut butter frosting.

- CAKE BATTER

1 csugar

1/2 cbutter, softened

2eggs

2 tspvanilla extract

1 1/2 cflour

1 3/4 tspbaking powder

1/2 cmilk

12mini peanut butter cups, chilled and unwrapped
- FROSTING

1/2 cbutter, softened
-
1 ccreamy peanut butter
-
3 Tbspmilk

2 cpowdered sugar
How To Make peanut butter cup-cakes

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake tins with paper liners.

2CAKE BATTER: Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs; stir in vanilla. Add flour and baking powder until well mixed. Stir in milk until smooth. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 full with batter. Press one peanut butter cup into each cupcake. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely before frosting.

3FROSTING: Cream butter and peanut butter. Add sugar until combined. Stir in milk as needed until smooth. Frost cooled cupcakes and decorate as desired.
