Ingredients

  • 2 c
    tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    chili powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp
    Adobo sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    honey
  • 2 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 4 1/2 lb
    pork shoulder

How to Make Adobo Pork

Step-by-Step

  1. In a food processor or blender, combine first 7 ingredients until smooth.
  2. Cut pork shoulder in half and put into 5 quart slow cooker. Pour tomato mixture over the pork and cook on high for 8 hours.
  3. Remove meat from slow cooker and cool slightly. Shred the meat and serve on buns or eat with plain, hot cooked rice
