1 1/2 lbpotatoes

2 Tbspolive oil

1 Tbsptomato paste

1 tspcinnamon

1 tspcayenne pepper

1 tspbasil, dried

salt, to taste
How To Make hot tomato cinnamon oven fries

1Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) (convection oven, otherwise 375°F or 190°C)

2Peel potatoes and cut into 1 cm (0.4 inches) sticks and soak for 10 minutes in a bowl of cold water.

3Combine olive oil, tomato paste, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, basil and salt to taste.

4Drain potatoes well and toss in marinade. Spread on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for about 30 minutes, stirring once after 15 minutes.
