My father growing up in Italy had this dish and it an all time family favorite

Ingredients For fresh tomato basil pasta

  • 1 box
    any shape pasta shells are fine
  • 5 sprig
    basil, fresh cut up
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 6
    medium size tomatoes
  • 5 clove
    garlic chopped

How To Make fresh tomato basil pasta

    boil tomatoes in salted water 1/2 tsp of salt in water make it come to a boil.. When you see the skin split on the tomatoes that means they are done.leave the water in the pot that you bolied the tomatoes in you will be cooking the pasta in the same water as the directons say on the box.

    in a bowl place chopeed garlic, oil,basil,a dash of salt and pepper..Get a small pot and add mixture to the pot it heat for 5 to 10 mins.

    drain pasta and mix pasta and tomato mixture together and serve with graded cheese.. This dish can be servrd hot or cold.. Enjoy it...:)
