I've been making this for about 6 years now, and I've always been asked to bring it again the next year This is a delicately flavored dip, requiring the crackers to be very mild and not overpowering. Club crackers work best.

Ingredients For apricot dip

8 oz

cream cheese, softened
4 oz

apricot preserves
1/2 tsp

almond extract
1/2 c

slivered (sliced thin) almonds

How To Make apricot dip

Mix the first 3 ingredients well and stir in the almonds

Mold and chill at least 2 hours

Garnish with slivered almonds and serve with Club crackers
