Ingredients For oriental cabbage salad

3 ozpackage of oriental noodles with chicken flavoring (uncooked)

4 ccabbage, shredded

2 Tbspsesame seeds

4green onions
-
3 Tbspvinegar
-
2 Tbspsugar

2 Tbspoil
-
1/2 tspground white pepper
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1/2 cslivered almonds (toasted)
How To Make oriental cabbage salad

1Break dry noodles and place in colander. Pour boiling water over noodles to soften them slightly. Drain well.

2In a large bowl combine noodles, cabbage, onions and sesame seeds.

3For dressing, in a screw top jar, combine seasoning packet from noodles, vinegar, sugar, oil, pepper and salt. Shake to mix well.

4Pour dressing over cabbage mix and toss. Cover and chill several hours or over night. Before serving stir in slivered almonds.
