Let me just say that my Grandma Aggie is one hell of a cook. I have overstuffed myself on this "salad" every Thanksgiving and Christmas since I was a baby. My mother kept grandma's tradition going (and now delivers a homemade batch to her every year) and I have since made it a tradition of my own as well. I will be teaching my kids to make it (I always had a blast helping my mom and looked forward to it all year), and will be included in the "Mom's Cookbook" wedding gifts I have planned for their futures! (I have to laugh at myself for that, but hey - I wish I'd have gotten one as a wedding gift! :P) I've never heard a soul say they didn't like it (though a cousin of mine and my fiance request thiers without nuts.)
