jello playdough
(1 rating)
In one of our groups (I can't remember which one) someone was wanting this recipe. I knew I had one, but couldn't find it. AHAH! I found it. I have made this several times for kids for Christmas and Birthday gifts. I usually put it in an old peanut butter jar (washed of course)and attach something fun to play with w/it (i.e. different shades of green and brown with a side of "Army Dudes" or color scheme of beige, pink and fuschia w/a single or several dollar store cookie cutters. You can add things like glitter too! It has great possibilities! Use your imagination!

How To Make jello playdough
-
1I got this recipe from: http://www.homemadeginger.com/2012/01/indoor-activities-day-6-perfect-play.html First, mix all your ingredients in a medium saucepan.
-
2Mix in your jello and watch it turn a bright color! It will start smelling great.
-
3In about 2 minutes it will also start slowly thickening and clumping together... Cook for about 6 minutes or so; until it is in a ball and there aren't any wet areas left.
-
4Once it's done, take it out and plop in on some waxed paper to cool.
-
5Once it's cool, you may want to knead it with a little flour if it seems sticky. I had to do this with a few of the colors that I made, and some not.
