These are moist and tender chicken breasts. The sauce is good as well.

Ingredients For stovetop seasoned & basted chicken breasts

  • 3 lg
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless or boned in chicken
  • 1 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1 Tbsp
    herbes de provence
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 c
    country bobs all purpose sauce (for basting)

How To Make stovetop seasoned & basted chicken breasts

    On a plate brush your chicken with canola oil or vegetable oil and sprinkle both sides with herbe de provence. Place oil in skillet on medium heat and add garlic and stir, then add breasts to skillet.

    Cook chicken on both sides about 10 minute each side. Then turn heat to low and baste with a brush, the country bobs sauce let cook 5 minutes and do the same on the other side and cook 5 minutes.

    Turn off burner, but leave skillet on the burner and cover skillet with lid and let rest another 5 minutes.
