Ireally like Tilapa and my favorite way for it to be , is Spicy. When we go out to eat at Ruby Tuesdays I always order it. To me this is like the way they cook it. Just add some Mango Salsa and Rice pilaf, so good.

Ingredients For spicy tilapa

  • 4
    tilapia fillets ( about 1 1/4 lbs. )
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • juice of a fresh lemon
  • TO MAKE THEM SPICY ADD A PINCH OF CAYENNE PEPPER, SPRINKLED OVER ALL 4

How To Make spicy tilapa

    Mix the Breadcrumbs with, salt, Lemon Pepper seasoning, and garlic in a shallow plate. - In a Bowl, pour the milk . Dip the fillets in the milk and then in the Breadcrumbs coating both sides.

    In a Large skillet over Medium High Heat, melt Butter, Working in Batches, cook each Tilapia 3 minutes each side, Flipping once. Or untill fish flakes easiley with a fork. For the spicer Tilapia, sprinkle with a pinch of cayenne ( my favorite way ) and while still hot, after cooking sprinkle all 4 fillets with the juice of 1 lemon. Serve hot
