I needed something to serve to a large group immediately following church and came up with this. I left it in the crock pot on low so it would stay warm and be ready to go when we got home. It was a huge success and is now a main staple in our household. We prepare many dishes using this as the base (baked tacos, deep fried tacos, enchiladas, chili, casseroles, etc.).

Ingredients For taco meat

2 lbground beef
-
1onion, shredded or finely minced
-
lots of fresh finely chopped garlic
-
1 Tbspchili powder
-
1 canrefried beans (small)

1 canrotel, drained
-
1 cmexican blend shredded cheese
How To Make taco meat

1Brown ground beef with onion and LOTS of garlic.

2Drain.

3Add chili powder, refried beans and drained Rotel.

4Mix well and heat thoroughly.

5Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted.
