Ingredients For roquefort meat loaf

1 lbground beef chuck

8 ozroquefort cheese

8 slicewhite bread, firm, crusts trimmed, diced

1/2 clight cream

salt and pepper to taste

1 tspdried thyme
-
2eggs, beaten
-
1 Tbspdijon mustard
-
1/4 cketchup
-
1/2 cparsley, fresh and chopped

2 cfresh bread crumbs
-
1 mdyellow onion, chopped

8 ozground veal
-
8 ozground pork
-
1egg, lighly beaten
How To Make roquefort meat loaf

1Combine the ground meats, onion, bread crumbs, parsley, ketchup, mustard, 2 eggs, thyme, salt and pepper.

2Spread the mixture out on a large piece of waxed paper or parchment paper into a rectangle about 15 x 12".

3Pour scalded cream over the bread in a medium size bowl and mix well. Add crumbled cheese and lightly beaten egg and beat with a fork until smooth.

4Spread the cheese mixture over the meat mixture, leaving a 1" border on all sides.

5Using the waxed paper as an aid and starting from one short side, roll up the meat like a jelly roll.

6Peel back the paper as you roll.

7Place seam side down on a foil-lined baking sheet.

8Bake 1 hour at 375.

9Cut into thick slices and serve immediately.
