  • 2 3/4 c
    crumbled cooked bacon, divided
  • 1 c
    french fried onions
  • 6 slice
    processed Swiss cheese, unwrapped
  • 8 oz
    dry angel hair pasta
  • 1 Tbsp
    avocado oil
  • 2 lb
    ground chuck
  • 2
    banana peppers, diced
  • 2 Tbsp
    steak seasoning
  • 1
    packet dry onion soup mix
  • 3 tsp
    ground black pepper
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 3/4 c
    half and half
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz
    Swiss cheese, shredded and divided

How To Make bacon and swiss burger casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add 1 cup crumbled bacon and french fried onions; mix well with a fork.

    Layer with sliced Swiss cheese slices on top.

    Cook angel hair pasta according directions; drain.

    Heat avocado oil in a large, deep skillet over medium high heat. Add ground chuck, 3/4 cup crumbled bacon and diced banana peppers; cook for 7 minutes or until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat.

    Season with steak seasoning, dry onion soup mix and black pepper; stir well. Remove from heat.

    Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, cream cheese, half and half and 1/2 of the shredded Swiss cheese; stir together for 5 minutes until blended and thickened.

    Add cooked angel hair pasta and ground round mixture and mix well until combined.

    Pour into the prepared baking dish evenly. Sprinkle with remaining shredded Swiss cheese and crumbled bacon.
