This recipe I created when I became disgusted with yet another attempt at making regular divinity FAILED!!! I took some leftover vanilla wafers and in baggy, beat them into pieces..small ones..added to the divinity and mixed it up very well...took it outside in the cold weather, covered the top and left it..it turned out great.

Ingredients For super divinity

3 csugar

1 ccorn syrup

1/2 chot water
-
4 dashfood coloring of choice

1 cchopped nuts of choice
-
1 Tbspvanilla extract
-
3 cchopped vanilla wafers

sprinkles of color choice, i use contrasting color of food coloring i used in candy.
How To Make super divinity

1In a saucepan, add the sugar, corn syrup and water, food coloring of choice. Mix well. Let the mixture start to boil stirring until the sugar is all dissolved. Then let it alone. If you cook this at medium, it won't overflow, but be sure to have a big enough pan just in case.

2. While candy cooking, separate the egg whites from the yolks and put the whites in the mixing bowl. Turn on high and let it whip stiff. Turn off and wait for the candy to be done.

3I put a candy thermometer in the pan and leave it, be sure it doesn't touch the bottom. It will take a little time but it should reach about 250 degrees, turn the heat off

4Pour slowly the candy mixture into the mixing bowl which you have turned back on to medium.It will mix quite well. Keep it going until it starts to get hard, then add the vanilla and nuts of choice. Beat some more, about 2 minutes. Add the chopped up vanilla wafers and mix some more, just enough to mix it up. Turn off and pour quickly into prepared sprayed baking dish. Cut into pieces and let set.

5I sprinkled contrasting colored sprinkles over the whole thing, and wow, it is pretty. All set to add to your fold pie plates along with other goodies to give away to friends and family...
