OK, so I am showing my age; I loved the Dinah Shore show back in the day. She was a southern belle that had some good recipes and this brownie recipe of hers is awesome and has been served many times at our house. They are gooey and just delicious!

Ingredients For dinah shore brownies

  • 3/4 c
    butter
  • 4 oz
    unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 lg
    eggs(room temperature)
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • *chopped nuts if you like them*

How To Make dinah shore brownies

    Preheat oven to 350*
  • 2
    Melt butter and chocolate together, then cool.
  • 3
    Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until thick.
  • 4
    Add(cooled)butter/chocolate mixture, then the flour (you can add nuts if you want).

    Bake in a greased 8×8x2 pan for 30- 35 minutes. Brownies is one of the things I try to never over bake because they get dry and lose that gooeyness.
