This recipe for "Stuffed Squash Blossoms" looks yummy and since I don't like Jalapeno poppers due to their spiciness, I would probably love these! One note to gardeners, however. When picking the blossoms, make sure you only take the MALE flowers and leave the FEMALES! The female blossoms are the ones that will make a squash. The males are only needed for the pollen. You can differentiate them by the stems below the flower. The stem below the female blooms are fatter for the first inch or so below the blossom, while the male's stem is the same thickness all the way down.
You do need leave a few male flowers to pollinate the female blossoms, but you don't need anywhere near as many as the plant will produce. So, you can safely remove a lot of male flowers without jeopardizing your bountiful harvest!
