Pots & Pans...my Mom and my neice both are 'life members' of the Cooking Club of America. They each got a set of stainless cookware that is beautiful, but everything sticks! At first, i wanted a set, but after i saw that, decided to stick w/what I have...a hodgepodge from throughout the years! At my age, i can make do with what I've got, no sense in giving QVC any more of my money for another set of cookware! Their stuff is really good, though, especially Cook's Essentials and Technique...got a couple pcs from them, too..lol
I love Kitchen Aid! I have a food processor, stand mixer and blender, even a potato peeler among others. I put them all on my registry when I got married. I got lucky in my presents!
Lol! Men! Thankfully mine can't even boil water, so I don't have to worry about that. I was surprised that the non-stick surface on these pans actually browns quite nicely. I threw away all my other pans when I got the new ones. I also absolutely love my kitchenaid stand mixer and don't know how I lived without it before.
I just recently bought Paula Deen pots and pans. But I want to get one of those stainless steel pans that have no non stick surface, just all silver. I've been putting it off because the one I want is so expensive. My husband destroyed my old pots and pans and he was using metal utensils in non stick pans. CRAZY! So I warned him this time to not touch the pots and pans or he's getting the wooden spoon! LOL!
I invested in a beautiful set of Calaphon last year and I love it. Although it can't go in the dishwasher it really washes so easy and it's great for browning and sauces. Real heavy duty stuff. Expensive but a great investment.
