Lori, Awwhhh that is so sweet. Of course not, use any of the pics you want. If you ever try a Paczki now you too will think of our little dog. hehe
Yes, I will post updated pics as he grows.
Thanks, Kim
What a wonderful idea, it will be a name you won't hear other people using for pet names and it has a special meaning for you. I have actually heard of the Poonch key, I had an aunt that was Polish and I don't remember eating one but I have definitely heard the name. Paczki is adorablr and Tibby definitely loves him. Please keep posting pictures of him as he grows, I actually have used a picture of him as a screen saver just because he is so cute!! I hope you don't mind. Have a great day and kisses to your babies!!
It is the name of a polish filled pastry (donut type) dessert. ~~~Pronounced Punch-key or Poonch-key~~ I had never had one till I married my husband who is Italian/Polish and he bought my first box of them. They are mainly available in our area only right before lent. I want to go to Cleveland next year and get some from a Polish bakery and taste the difference. hehe
Anyway, the name came to me a couple of mornings ago when I woke up. It was clear that was to be his name! I know it sounds crazy but I had to go with it. (Plus, I had been praying about it cause my husband said if I didn't name him soon he was going to name him.) I really wanted a "T" name to match Tibby but it didn't seem to work that way. His name will always remind me of my husband and our Polish heritage on his side and my "step-dad's sides of the family. A rich heritage that hopefully we will pass on to our children or adopted children; whichever comes first.
I posted a recipe for them as well. In case, someone was interested in eating one. hehe Paczki with Rose Jam
