My male dog, Chester, is the same way...Amber listens to me much more than he does. Chester is very independent and has so much energy. Amber is really laid back and very cuddly. We love both. I think it is nice having two dogs with different personalities..and they have such a great friendship between them!

He seems to not be catching on as quickly as Tibby. But she only had us to listen to, so her ability to hear human talk is stronger. I keep looking at Paczki but he doesn't do the head turn or anything when I talk to him. He just looks at me. LOL
