The only change I made was to add about a quarter teaspoon of dark roast instant coffee to the filling. It seems to really intensify the chocolate flavor.
My hubby said it was the best he'd ever had. I think next time I will add one extra egg. I love big meringue! Thanks for sharing this one Cass, it is REALLY wonderful.
