Joan I was with you until me hubby said now thats just plain crazy the color is wrong. But the tree is definately a spurce

Now, this Colorado Spruce tree does show branches pointed downward, and really looks similar to the one shown with the raccoon in it. I would guess it is a Blue Colorado Spruce tree too.

Stormy...not being able to see the top of the tree, can't be sure. BUT, it sure looks clost to this Colorado Blue doesn't it.

This one is a colorado Blue. The one I am not sure of is in the raccoon picture and these two are possible choices

This looks like a fir tree - maybe one of the "abies" varities. You could check with your local master gardener group and I am certain they would be able to answer your question. If they aren't local, call or email your state university that has an agricultural/horticultural division. They are a great resource!
