I Made These But Did Not Have Anise So I Used Just Vanilla And Added Some Toll House Mini Chips To The Batter. I Frosted With Glaze And Topped With Confec. Sugar And Snowflakes! A Winter Cookie! :)

Oh Glenda ~ Please let me know if you made them and they are like your Mom's,, I am so glad to have this recipe, as I had them from my sister-in-law for years and when she passed I got the recipe and we sure do love em !!!! So please let me know if your memories of these are the same as mine, I only make them at Christmas as well.

MY mother used to make these when I was a child and we loved them she never iced them and it didn't matter bc we ate them as quick as we could. I hope this recipe is similar to hers in taste bc I cant wait to make them she only made them at Christmas
