Oh I always put a sauce over it before baking and then again before it's finished baking, I just hadn't put it on yet in this pic.

Well my husband grows his own and I freeze em, so always have plenty, red, green, and yellow ~ try the sauce over it, I double it and we pour it over our mashed potatoes too ~

Looks great.....I put fresh spinach in this one. I usually like diced peppers (bell peppers) in mine but this time I didn't put any.

Give me time Eddie, I took notes as I was making and taking pix but have not written the recipe yet.....has lots of 'stuff' in it ;D
Carol even if I make it in my regular size loaf pans I usually go ahead and slice it and freeze a few slices together to pull out later.

I do the same thing now, so I can freeze the ones we don't eat and get another meal out of it !
