Hi, yes I always cook it first. You can cool it and keep it in the fridge if you'll be giving it away the following day. Just advise to reheat it in the oven at 325-350 for about thirty mins. :-)

THIS. LOOKS. FABULOUS! Thank you! When you make 2 pies, do you cook it first before giving it away? Sorry if that's a weird ? but I've made about 3 pies in my life!!! As far as chicken pot pie, I've only ever made the mini ones in cup cake pans. I am super excited to make this!!!
