place browned quail on top of rice and saute mixture, cover the birds with bacon strips, cover the skillet and let it simmer for 30 minutes

Yum....finished product...wild quail, with force meat stuffing, on wild rice...I have added mixed greens with horseradish and bread as sides, and a hearty red wine...enjoy!
