You've inspired me to get out all my cast iron ware and do an inventory. I have some that have been stored for years, because I didn't like lifting and hauling it in and out of the oven. Now that I've been working out with weights, I can do that much easier.

Only drawback - my oven is broken right now, so I'm limited to stovetop recipes. I'm tempted to try some skillet cornbread that doesn't go in the oven.

It looks 99% better. I'll keep seasoning it, and I won't use detergent on it as I read that is what takes the oil finish off it.
