haha! Yep, that's what I do, too. I love my meat tenderizer ... I use it for pork chops, chicken breasts, steak, etc. Makes the meat altogether different, esp. if marinating....the meat just absorbs the marinade flavors so much better when the tissues are broken down a bit.
You did a great job on these rouladen. I love looking at them!

I used Round steak and tenderized (hammered) the heck out of it.
