I forgot to take a picture BEFORE I put the saran wrap on the cake for transport tomorrow morning. SORRY. But you can still see the cake. It looks yummy! The frosting is light and fluffy and not too sweet. 4/25/13
This is what the cake looked like when it came out of the oven. I tried to "edit" the picture to rotate it clockwise but it wouldn't let me do that. This is still the 9X13 pan. LOL
Got the ingredients for the cake together so I wouldn't foget to add something. I had to use a recipe to "ripen" bananas for this cake as I didn't have enough ripe bananas. 4/25/13
I made this cake today, and we love it..I have never made buttercream icing in this fashion before, but it is delicious..not too sugary either..the cake has just the right banana flavoring in it too. Delicious..five stars! 12.10.12
Thank you guys. I really appreciate it. I've been getting requests for this cake over and over. I love it too. It's so moist and because I use more than the noted 1 1/2 cups worth of bananas (more like 2 cups for me) it's extra delicious. I remember the first time that I made it, I was freaking out because the batter was so thick and I thought it would spill over in the oven. Not a chance. It came out perfect. Can't wait to make it AGAIN!
