Fred's dessert from Gray Bros. Cafeteria, in Mooresville, Ind. He had Coconut Cream Pie. This pie looked so light and fluffy. I had to buy a whole one to bring home.

Mary, I don't see anything wrong with having eggs for dinner. I love grits and biscuits with eggs. The hubs won't eat grits but he likes everything else. I have 2 dozen jumbo eggs in the fridge. I usually buy jumbo, unless I'm making something that requires a bunch of eggs or for coloring for Easter. I will have to check out the ground turkey, that's a good price.
They go off sale tomorrow,But they are often on sale..i have walgreen send me a on line add,and they send both this week and the next some times.....We are going to Aldi's later to pick up a few things....By the way ,we bought a roll of their ground turkey(1.49)it was just fine...
I just will not give 1.98 a dozen....We some time eat eggs for supper,Our favorite ,is Bisquits ,Grits ,and Fried Egg,s,Bacon or Ham slices...Now you know why we are fat.....
Thanks for the egg tip. I have a Walgreens near me. I don't think I have any room in the fridge right now. I have a ton of salad veggies I need to clean so I can make room.
Yep,I think she would buy it at McCory,s 5&Dime..It was her one "vice"It does have the nicest soft smell..The lady said she has to order it from Fragance.Net...I have ordered from them before, their stuff is about half the price of retail, and they have sales.I love Norell, and one from Spain called Maji...The Rev,loves the Norell,I tease him and tell him when we were dating he would say "mmm, you sure smell good "Now he say's you smell wonderful and expensive"The Rev does all the shopping for soap, tolet paper ,raziors, his shaving gell. While I shop for the food, the other day he ask me whike he was talking to some one to go pick him up some Raziors,I like to have fanted when I saw the price of them..
By the way ,If you have a Walgreens near you eggs are on sale .89 cents a dozen.Aldi's had them for 1.29,Wal-Mart wanted 1.98..I stocked up ..
Mary, Isn't Evening in Paris the one that could be purchased at the Dime Store? Actually, I don't think anything is cheap these days. I went to get a shampoo I use for permed hair the other day. I just about died, it was 47.00 for a liter bottle. Last time I bought it I paid 9.99 when they had their Liter Sale. Next time I buy it will be at the Liter Sale which is in July, and I will be buying enough to last until the next sale. I also, bought a pump to put on the bottle so I don't over do it.
I have periods where I think about my Mom and Grandma quite often. When I was with my sister's we laughed at how each one of us like our Mom. We also laughed at certain comments that were made and what our Mom would have replied. Everytime my Grandma would get up from where she was sitting she would moan and groan and say, "Oh Dearie". So we immitated my Grandma a lot while we were together.
Julia,We use to eat a lot of tomato and onion sandwichs when I was a girl.Funny I have been thinking a lot about those day's lately..I guess it is growing older...I was in Branson ,a few weeks ago at the book store and this older lady sit down in the chair next to me ..For some reason her perfume reminded me of my Granny..I ask her what it was ,she said it was Evening In Paris,I did not even know they made it any more...I looked it up on the internet, and honey it is no longer cheap....
