Photo Of How To: Measure Cold Coconut Oil, Shortening, Tub Margarine, Or Any Greasy Waxy Hard Gloppy Substance Into Your Batter :) Start With 1 Cup Of Cold Water, I Like My Glass 2 Cup Measure, If You Need To Measure More Than A Cup You Can Break It Into Parts Or Get A Bigger Measuring Cup! :) Add Your Coconut Oil, A Chuck Or Spoonful At A Time Until The Water Rises To The Desired Measurement. (ie: To Measure 2/3 Cup Of The Oil The Water Should Rise To 1 And 2/3 Cups) Make Sure That You Push The Oil Down Below The Surface Of The Water, If Its Sticking Up Above The Water, Its Not Included In The Measurement. Then Just Pour Out The Water. I Usually Dump It Into My Hand Over The Sink, But Sometimes If Its Really Cold Coconut Oil Is Hard So To Keep From Losing Any Just Pour It Through A Fine Mesh Strainer. Voila! Perfectly Measured.
