Some friends I grew up and went to school with sell the real thing! They go to the farmer's market here on Fridays... so I have a supply when ever I need it... Also, I use to sell it years ago in my store for the Amish... I have to go about 35 miles to get that...

oooohhhhhhh...you really should get some to try...you can order it on line omg yum...there is nothing better!!! It can be made in MO can't it? I thought I seen a special on tv once...oh well if you can't get it there, you should order some...

Peggi do you sell your maple syrup then? I just love home made maple syrup! Where I used to live yrs ago, my landlord made home made maple syrup and would give me a bottle or two for changing out his buckets of sap for him occasionally...quart bottles...mmmmmmmmm yummmmmmmmm my mouth is just watering thinking about it.

I make my own maple syrup also that is really thick so it was exceptionally good.

I wrote on the original recipe page. Just made it & it tastes identical to the centers of my Reese's Peanut Butter Cups only thinner. Love it. I will post pictures of it when I put it on ice cream
