Hi Janet,I think that I'm the lucky one actually,if it weren't for her I think I may not of been here to talk about this. We've been married for going on seventeen years and during the past three I have not been well myself. I've had FIVE open heart procedures a year and a half ago,I'm out of work and on disability. Doesn't pay much but every little bit helps. My wife works at a local hospital near we live and her connections through work is what helped me get through this. It all started from birth,I was born with a bad heart valve and it only got worse as I aged. I'm feeling OK now but I sometimes have set backs that require more medications, doctor visits and such.I have more hardware in my chest than a Home Depot store! Ha! But really,Helen is the love of my life and I wouldn't trade her for all the diamonds in the world! We have two grown children, Michelangelo and Marissa and each other, nothing else really matters after that. Sorry to ramble on,I'll be looking for your recipe tonight! Have a great day! :)
Your wife is a very lucky lady! I love to bake a cook but with all my chores I have to do would love for my hubby to do some of it. He's not well but getting better everyday :)
Your going to love what I post tonight...can't tell you because it's a surprise!
Yes! I got your email and thank you so much!
Don't laugh,I could handle that portion without a problem! Just kidding,it's enough for at least four if your serving a salad or a side with it. Otherwise it's enough for three. I'm making kale chips and a slow cooker pork roast with herb roasted root vegetables. I'm also making some nice homemade Cihicken and Pastina soup for the weekend.I'll post the pics and recipes today when I'm done. Did you get that link I emailed you? :)
