OK, so my cake looks crumbly, but that's because I did not use a really sharp knife to cut it. The cake was as tasty as you could possibly imagine. This cake was a real winner, and will be made again soon.
All iced and ready to serve. Not as pretty as the author's cake, but it's the best I could do. The orange color is partly because I did not use a flash, but my icing was orange-colored by itself, too.
Out of the pans. The cake on the right had a piece stick to the center of the pan, so I used a spatula and removed the piece, then popped it back into place.
