This Cake is very close to the one y Mother and her Mother used to make all the tie along with other almost forgotten cakes....this certain one was made with a butter cream frosting w/orange zest and food coloring of orange...cake has crushed walnuts and raisins[steeped in hot water then drained and crushed as well with real oranges crushed too in a meat old fashioned grinder...do it all at once decorate with manderine oranges in a flair style.....got many reviews and comments all goood lol and first prize at state fairs and culinary events ......... WAY TO GO MOM
