Another view of the cookies. When I bake the rest of the dough I'll see if they come out a little less flat. Don't know why they spread out so much. Still delicious! 8/05/12
You said the walnuts were optional so I decided NOT to use any. I baked my cookies on parchment paper-lined cookies sheets for about 9 minutes. They were kind-of thin; but oh so delicious! 8/05/12
I put the flour, salt and baking soda in a small bowl and mixed it together well. Then added it to the butter, sugar, egg and vanilla mixture. Then I added the See's Chocolate Chips (2 cups). Maybe I should have added the whole bag of them.
I creamed the butter then added the brown sugar, creamed, then added the white sugar, creamed. Then added the two eggs and the vanilla and mixed well. 8/05/12
I know. I had already talked with Leslie out in California @ See's ... but I didn't know that they are closed on the weekend!!! See's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips are item #571 and they are $5.95 for a one pound bag...and $7.00 S&H. ...UGH....
