They Are Both Very Pretty In The Sunlight When The Sun Brings Out Their Red Or Yellow Golden Highlights. The roads would become so slushy and sometimes had a sheet of ice beneath the slush, and many times there are road accidents (after January). But, when Spring occurs, it was so pretty. We always knew when Spring arrived, because we had hundreds of beautiful purple crocus's flowers that would be growing above the melting snow, everywhere in our back yard, and it was a very beautiful site. So, Spring was much anticipated every year, and worth the wait!

I bet your puppies will really love the snow! They have such fun in the snow. We use to always have to be careful when letting our dog out on snowy days, because sometimes they could get frost bite, so is important on very cold days to not allow them outside more than five minutes at a time. We use to have some very bitterly cold days, and had to always watch the temperature. When we use to live in Windber (Johnstown, Pa area), the snow and very cold weather would usually arrive very early, such as end of October. Sometimes we would have snow until middle of June (rarely)...but mostly would end middle of May every year. We were located in the Appalachian mountains, or the laurel highlands (it was usually called). I love the snow and cold weather, but only during the Fall season, and having a white Thanksgiving and white Christmas holiday (love)...but after January, I wish it would go away..lol!

Oh, I bet that is sooo cute, watching them chase leaves...lol! The joys they bring to a family is amazing. The leaves remind me so much of when we use to live in Pennsylvania (Johnstown) thirteen years ago, and our first golden, Max, use to love going out in the snow. The snow would be really deep and over his head..it was funny watching him go running through the snow, making a tunnel all over our yard. We could not see him, since he was buried under the snow..but we would only see a bump or a hump (on top of the snow) traveling as he ran making tunnels everywhere in our yard. He loved the snow so much!
