Easy Crockpot Parsnip Chowder

This is my Dad's "recipe". He threw this together yesterday, and OMG it was good!

I'll be making this soon, and may sub in salmon for the ham.

Method:

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

4 c
diced parsnips, fresh
2 c
carrots, fresh
1 c
mushrooms, fresh
1 c
celery, diced
1 c
onions, chopped
1 1/2 c
ham, diced
1 Tbsp
diced garlic
1 can(s)
cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
1 can(s)
cream of celery soup, undiluted
2 c
vegetable stock
1 c
milk
salt and pepper

Directions Step-By-Step

Dice/chop fresh vegetables and drop them in a 4 quart crockpot.

Add undiluted creamed soups, milk, vegetable stock, garlic and salt and pepper.

Simmer in crockpot until heated through and vegetables are done. It is best to start this in the morning and let it go all day. Enjoy!
