This carrot corn chowder is a wholesome meal. If you want you can add some clams to make even better, with clams is the way my son likes this chowder.

Ingredients

onion
1 Tbsp
butter
1 1/2 c
cream corn
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c
water
1 1/2 c
sliced carrots
3 c
milk, whole

Directions Step-By-Step

Heat in the bottom of a soup kettle onion, butter and water

Add carrots and corn Stirring occasionally until carrots are cooked through.

Add milk, salt and pepper. Stir until hot. Serve with homemade hot rolls or oyster crackers.
