This is a good hot and tasty dish for those cold winter days to come. It is pretty simple to make too.

Ingredients

3 lb
chicken breast w/ skin
7 c
chicken stock (2-32 cartons)
1/2 tsp
each, salt & pepper
3-4 clove
garlic, minced
1/2- 1 tsp
each, gr. thyme & sage
1 tsp
onion powder
2 c
each, diced carrot & celery
1 pkg
12oz egg noodles (amish)

Step-By-Step

1Place chicken, 1 cup of stock in pressure-cooker, sprinkle seasonings over chicken. Cook for 45-1 hour.
2Meanwhile, in a stock pot, add veggies to rest of chicken stock. Cover and simmer until veggies are tender.
3When chicken is done, let it cool then coarsely shred and add to stock pot. Also add extra stock from pressure cooker.
4Add noodles and cook for 15—20 minutes or until tender.
