Crab Bisque made the easy way

This easy to prepare Crab Bisque recipe is from my cookbook SHARING OUR FAVORITE RECIPES. It is quick and easy & quite tasty for all you crab lovers out there, with little time to prepare a traditional recipe.

1 can(s)
10 1/2 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 can(s)
10 1/2 oz. can cream of asparagus soup
1 1/2 can(s)
soup cans of milk
1 c
light cream
1 can(s)
6 1/2 can crab meat, drained & flaked ( more if desired)
1/4 c
cooking sherry
4 Tbsp
butter, divided

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large sauce pan over medium heat, combine cream of mushroom soup & asparagus soup. Stir in milk & light cream. Heat just until boiling. Add crab meat & continue to heat. Stir in cooking sherry just before serving. Pour into individual bowls and float a pat of butter on top of each serving while still hot. Garnish with chopped parsley or chopped chives. Makes 6-8 servings depending on appetite.
