| 1 Tbsp | vegetable oil |
| 1 large | onion, chopped |
| 3 clove | garlic, crushed |
| 1 can(s) | diced jalapeno peppers (4 oz.) |
| 1 can(s) | chopped green chile pepper (4 oz.) |
| 2 tsp | ground cumin |
| 1 tsp | dried oregano |
| 1 tsp | ground cayenne pepper |
| 2 can(s) | chicken broth (14.5 oz. each) |
| 3 c | cooked chicken, chopped |
| 3 can(s) | great northern beans (15 oz. each), drained and rinsed |
| 1 c | pepper jack cheese, shredded |

Directions
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Slowly cook and stir onion until tender. Mix in garlic, jalapeno, green chile peppers, cumin, oregano and cayenne. Continue cooking for an additional 3 minutes.
Add chicken broth, chicken and great northern beans. Simmer 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Slowly stir in cheese until melted. Serve warm.
