Busy Day Chili with Beans

I like to make this when I have had a busy day. It works well in the crockpot too. Just cook the meat first.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot


1 lb
hot sausage -cooked and drained
1 lb
sweet italian or maple flavored sausage (or your choice) - cooked and drained
2 can(s)
pinto beans
2 can(s)
great northern beans
1 can(s)
corn - whole kernal - drained
1 can(s)
white hominy -drained
2 can(s)
petit tomatoes with cilantro and lime (or your favorite type)
1 pkg
chili mix - i use western family
you can add jalepenos or whatever you want to spice it up more

Directions Step-By-Step

Cook the sausage and drain well. Add all other ingredients, mix well and bring to a simmer.

(After the meat is cooked I put all of the ingredients in the crockpot and bring the heat up. If you are in a hurry, just use the stove).
Serve with grated cheese, sour cream, tortilla chip or any other garnish you prefer.
