Mighty little sunflower seeds have been shown to reduce the risk of developing asthma, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis, colon cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

I found this recipe on the Clean Eating website.....SOOOO GOOOD!

Ingredients

3/4 c
sunflower seeds
1 1/2 c
oatmeal, uncooked
1/4 c
ground flaxseed
1/2 c
dried cranberries
1/2 c
almonds, slivered
1/2 c
shredded coconut, unsweetened
3 Tbsp
natural peanut butter
1/2 tsp
fine sea salt
1/3 c
raw honey
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

Directions Step-By-Step

Preheat oven to 300

Combine ingredients in a bowl.

Mix until evenly blended.

Press mixture into a baking pan.

Bake for 40 minutes.

I made it again. I am also going to leave out the fruit until AFTER I have baked the mixture. I put in gogi berries and they burned to a crisp! LOL I picked them out. I do love this granola. It is easy to make, healthy and very flexible to add or change ingredients.
