homemade peanut butter and banana doggie cookies
(1 rating)
Okay, call me crazy! (It's okay, I already know...!). At my house you "Must Love Dogs" and cats, but I actually bake for the pups. These are fun to make and easy; I just use my mixer. Dogs LOVE peanut butter, the banana adds some natural sweetness, and the parsley (or mint) helps that doggie breath problem. After retiring from my profession I became a "Pet Nanny". I have cared for hundreds of dogs; never had one turn down this tasty treat! So try these for your pups. You and your fuzzy family member are sure to have a tail wagging good time!

How To Make homemade peanut butter and banana doggie cookies
-
1Preheat oven to 300 D F. Place bananas in medium bowl. Mash thoroughly. Add flour. oats, peanut butter, and egg. Stir well to combine. OR this may all be done in a mixer.
-
2Roll mixture into 24 balls or drop by tablespoons on parchment paper lined cookie sheets. Use back of spoon to press each ball or mound into 2 inch coin. I like to criss-cross w/ back of fork to look like peanut butter cookies. OR see next step.
-
3You may pat out or roll out dough to cut w/ cookie cutter. (bone shaped cookie cutter anyone?). Bake 35-45 minutes or until firm and crunchy according to thickness/desired shape.
