Sauerkraut and tomato casserole

I first had this recipe at a pot luck supper and enjoyed it so much that I kept asking the lady that made it for the recipe. It took her a long time to send it to me, but I sure was happy when she did.

I especially like this served with ham or pork.

sauerkraut, rinsed and drained well
large can of chopped tomatoes with the juice (i use muir glen)
1/2 c
chopped onion, sauteed
1/4 c
chopped celery, sauteed with the onion in butter
1/4 c
brown sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

After saute the onion and celery, mix the remaining ingredients in a casserole dish and bake at 350 for 45 to 50 mins until most of the moisture has evaporated.
