Remove ends of carrots if needed and stems from mushrooms. Wipe mushroom caps with a damp paper towel to clean off dirt. Place carrots, mushrooms and water in a microwave safe bowl to steam until the veggies are crisp-tender. I start with 5 minutes then stir,then steam in 2 minute increments until they are crisp-tender.
Remove from microwave. Pour honey and cinnamon onto carrots and mushrooms toss gently, place back in microwave 30 seconds. Remove from oven and serve.
