Microwave Corn on the Cob

If you have never tried cooking your corn on the cob in the microwave, you are missing out! To me, cooking the corn in the husk gives it a GREAT flavor.
I have been cooking my corn in the microwave for years but I just recently read about an easiser way of husking the corn. Now it is definitely the easiest way to cook corn.

Ingredients

Step-By-Step

Step 1 Direction Photo

1Remove only the outer husks that look old and dirty.

Step 2 Direction Photo

2Wrap each ear in a damp paper towel.
Microwave on high 4-6 minutes. If cooking more than 2 ears, you might need to add a little more cooking time.

Step 3 Direction Photo

3Let sit for a 2-3 minutes to cool a little so it won't be as hot to handle.
Remove paper towel.
Cut the stalk end off of the corn.

Step 4 Direction Photo

4Grab hold of the end with the silk and squeeze.
The corn will slide out leaving all the silk inside of the huak.
Season to taste.
