My mother always made this salad when I was a kid. I have no idea where she got the recipe from, but it sure was tasty. It has been in our family for as long as I can remember, and many other members of my family also makes it too. Now when we make it, we make it in homor of mama. The recipe is in my cookbook, among the section called Mama's Recipes. We grew our own English peas when I was a kid they were so tender & young & very good. Mama always called Early June Peas, ENGLISH PEAS, hence the name of this salad. I hope you try it & like it, we sure do in our family. Yes Mama was a great cook
