Low Carb Green Bean Mac N Cheese

I have loved macaroni and cheese since I was a kid. I don't care how you make -- I'll love it.

But.... I am doing low carb now. I love to make green bean spaghetti (recipe on JAP) and I wondered if doing the same thing with the mac and cheese recipe would work the same way...

Guess what! It not only worked -- I love it just as much as "the real thing"!!

Stove Top

Ingredients

3 or 4 c
frozen cut green beans
salt to taste
1 tsp
minced onion
1/2 tsp
granulated (or powdered) garlic
1
cheese sauce (see recipe link below)

Directions Step-By-Step

Start by boiling (or steaming) the green beans (with the salt, onion, and garlic) to the done-ness that you like.

Make this cheese sauce
My Sister's Cheese Sauce
--or any cheese sauce that you are comfortable with

Drain the beans, cover with the cheese sauce, stir and serve.
